Brodie Consulting Services is led by James Brodie — a senior programme and transformation leader who has run large, complex delivery for banks, insurers, retailers, government departments, and a Big Four consultancy before founding this firm.

James Brodie

James is a Senior Leader, Head of Test, and Programme Manager with 28+ years' experience delivering complex, end-to-end transformation across pharmaceuticals, finance, insurance, engineering, banking, retail, new media, the Ministry of Defence, and the wider public sector — including Big Four consultancy experience at IBM.

He's built a reputation in offshore and vendor management — invited to lecture in Stockholm on making offshore engagements succeed — and is comfortable running C-suite stakeholder relationships while keeping delivery honest against budget, scope, schedule, risk, and benefits. Every Brodie engagement is led personally by James, not handed to a bench of juniors.

    Delivered the migration of multiple government benefits systems, including Housing Benefit processing over £1bn in monthly payments, reporting to programme directors and government ministers.

    Led development and offshore test teams on Barclays' mobile banking application, built the release management process, and managed 95 integration points across the Wealth Direct platform.
